The great need for improvement in the speed of implementation and the framework conditions for the transformation of the energy industry is particularly clear: around 90 percent of respondents rate these areas as needing improvement or significant improvement &#8211; an alarming figure. Some of the current measures are contradictory and there are no clear priorities. It is crucial that politicians take targeted action now in order to put the energy transition on the right track and not jeopardize the competitiveness of companies. On the one hand, we need to pick up the pace, particularly in terms of approval procedures and grid expansion. On the other hand, the pace must not be at the expense of competitiveness and feasibility. A balanced approach is urgently needed here.
