The current Atreus study shows that risk management around security of supply and investment in a faster green transformation is a top priority in the energy industry and also for many (industrial) companies. Increased energy prices, the threat of non-supply and sustainable climate protection efforts override many other business factors and are catalysts for accelerated transformation processes.

Innovations, especially in the areas of energy generation, storage, transmission/transport/distribution, flexibility and energy efficiency are becoming more and more important.

For this study, around 700 top managers from the energy industry were surveyed in May and June 2022.
